How to make a working fortune teller

in literacy we have been learning how to make incrustations about how to make a fortune teller

How to make a working fortune teller

You need: paper scissors colouring in pencils/falts

1.you need to fold the piece of paper to the crece  

2.fold the piece of paper towards you the unfold it and turn it around then fold it towards you again

3.there should be four squares then fold it so it looks like triangles then fold it so it looks like triangles there will be 8 triangles.

4 then fold one of the triangles to the middle then fold all the triangles to the middle

5  flip it over and fold the triangles to the middle then flip it over and then fold the triangles to the middle

6 fold it in half and get you thumb and index fingers and put them in the square bit then pinch them together with the piece of paper in the middle  

7 write what number or word that you want on our fourchon teller then color you want then open it up and write what you want in the middle

         Then there you go you are finished

monopillar

monopillar whiten by Alan Hordfield

we are learning about how to look deeply into characters

I liked monopoillar because it was a ministry because he would sneak  around were he was not spot  to and he keep finding bones in orange bag's


the main character is Jason

we had to do 3 activity sheets the first one was a word investigation chart were you write down all the words that you do not know and you need to guess what the word means then you search up the word in a dictionary or on google then you have a question web which is were you write down all your questions that you have about the store then there is a character inference chart is were you write down what you know about your character.it helped  me understand my character because i got to write down all i know about Jason.My favourite part was when he was seeking into the once and seeing all the bones.

The shifty shark

"The Shifty Shark" written by Susan Griffiths illustrated by Rae Dale


we are learning to look deeply in to the character my opinion about the book is a yes because its a really good story to read I think you shooed read it the main character is Archie the shark we had to do an activity sheets it help me to understand who the character my favourite part of the book was the part that the ref fish was being rude and cheeky

kindness

Today we learned  about kindness. We made a little poem about kindness and love.So first we had to plan it on a piece of pepper .Then we had rite it on a doc. We had to come up with word's that kindness mean's to you.It was kinda easy but at the  time it was hard. 

Hokey with peter

This morning my class stared Hokey.With peter from Canterbury Hokey.First we did dripping we had to imagine that the ball was stuck to the hokey stick with blue tack.After that we learnt how to stop and dodge other players.We had to control the ball at all times lastly we played a game like rob the nest.We had to steel balls from in the middle when they were gone we had to steel them form other people.At the end my team had 4 balls. I found dogging people hard because when you would try and stop the ball it wouldn't stay it would start rolling a way that was the hardest thing I found.I found dripping was the easiest thing because you can go fast or slow.I learnt how to pick up a hokey stick properly.
