Reading plus
Today we did reading plus.Today i finished all of my reading tasks I finished half of the vocabulary tasks this is my template for reading plus. I think reading plus is hared and easy.

How To Light A Bunsen Burner
Aim:
I want to find out how to SAFELY light a Bunsen Burner
Method:
- Heatproof mat
- lighter
- Bunsen burner
- get your equipment
- put your safety glasses on
- connect the hose and the gas
- turn the collar and close the air hole
- slightly light the the match or lighter over the gas but do not turn the gas tap on before you light it
- if you are not useing the Bunsen burner turn off the gas

Reading Inferring meaning
Inferring is being able to read between the lines in the text.
Hands on Fire
Aim:
I want to find out how to set myself on fire safely
Method:
Equipment
- Large container of water
- Detergent (liquid soap)
- Hose
- Gas
- Lighter
- safety glasses
- getting the equipment
- Fill up container with water (2 cm deep)
- put some liquid soap and gently mix around
- connect the hose to the gas tap
- turn on the gas and bubble it into the water
- tie you hair back
- roll up your sleeve up past your elbow
- wet your hand and arms with water
- with two hand scoop the bubbles not the water
- Take two steps forward
- light the bubbles
- open up both and give a high five

safety in the Lab
- You must follow instructions given by the by the teacher..
- You must not enter the lab without the teacher.
- Report any breakages.
- Shoes must be worn at all times.
- Do not eat or drink in the lab.
- If you spill something tell the teacher then clean it up.
- Wash your hands after doing experiments
- A heatproof mat should always be used when heating
- If in doubt,ask the teacher.
- Never taste or smell chemicals.
