Day 11 moeraki boulders
Day 11 Moeraki boulders
Today we left Dunedin to see the Moeraki boulders we had to walk down near the beach to see them there were lots of them me and my brother stood on one he fell off and got his foot wet because there was a wave coming in, here are some fun facts about the Moeraki boulders
1.There are over 50 boulders along koekohe beach
2.The biggest boulders weigh over 7 tons and measure over 2 meters across
3.It took about 2 million year for the largest boulders to form there current size. The tiny fragments however began forming about 60 million years ago
we then left the boulders and drove to Oamaru to see the big rainbow lolly factory shop. We brought some lollies for the rest of our Holiday and took a photo outside the shop doing a dab.

Wow Arnicka! You had a great holiday travelling around and seeing all these interesting places.
ReplyDeleteI was born in Oamaru and lived there until I was 18. I really liked the lollie factory!
It's so cool that you have all these memories and photos to look back on.
